EyeTrainer

Settings

Fine-tune every aspect of your training session. All settings can be adjusted per-session or saved as named presets.

Speed

Controls how fast the ball moves along its path. The scale goes from 1 (very slow) to 10 (very fast). Start at 3–5 and increase as your tracking improves.

Tip

Lower speeds are better for smooth pursuit training. Higher speeds shift the exercise toward saccade-like tracking as the eyes struggle to keep up.

Range

Sets how far the ball travels from the center point. Near keeps the ball in a tight area, while Far makes it sweep across a wider arc. Wider ranges require more eye movement and can be more challenging.

Distance

Controls how far the ball is from you in 3D space. Closer positions emphasize convergence (the eyes turning inward), while farther positions emphasize straight-ahead tracking.

Duration

Set the session timer from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. The timer counts down during the exercise and automatically ends the session when it reaches zero.

Warning

Start with shorter sessions (1–2 minutes) and build up gradually. Eye fatigue can cause discomfort, especially with convergence exercises.

Ball Size

Adjusts the diameter of the training ball. Smaller balls require more precise fixation. The default size works well for most users, but you can shrink it as your accuracy improves.

Lighting

Choose from lighting presets that change the ball's appearance and the ambient environment. Options range from bright studio lighting to a dark room with just the ball illuminated. Different lighting conditions train different aspects of visual function.
